Membership Agreement

In consideration of being allowed to participate in LS LowCountry Events, you (the participant) hereby understand and agree to a release of liability and assumption of risk, and to the terms hereof as follows:

You understand that attendance at LS LowCountry gatherings and public events, such as Meet and Greets, is open to all lifestyle members. However, private membership-only events are restricted to members and invitees as outlined in the membership process below.

Invitees will receive a semi-vetted status in the group until a current member nominates them for full membership based on trust, discretion, and good character.

You acknowledge that the subject matter concerns the practice of consensual ethical non-monogamy, including swinging, open relationships, bondage and discipline, power exchange, sadomasochism, homosexuality, fetishism, and other related sexual activities between consenting adults. These are umbrella terms that fall under ethical non-monogamy.

By participating in LS LowCountry events, you agree that you find none of the aforementioned subjects or activities offensive or objectionable. You wish to be a member of LS LowCountry for the purpose of meeting and connecting with like-minded individuals, learning, and expanding your knowledge of the listed lifestyles and the ethical values of the ENM community. You understand that some events hosted or sponsored by LS LowCountry may involve nudity or may be sexually explicit, and you consent to the explicit nature of such events, certifying that this does not make them offensive or objectionable to you.

You recognize that some aspects of the ENM lifestyle (e.g., BDSM) and related activities described above carry inherent risks. You assume the risk of physical and emotional injury resulting from participation in events and activities inherent in such activities at LS LowCountry Events. By participating, you waive any claim to liability that might arise against LS LowCountry, or its leaders, volunteers, or members from your participation or use of information at such events.

You acknowledge that if you are working for or on behalf of any law enforcement, news gathering, news reporting, or any other media organization including social media when attending LS LowCountry events, you agree not to disclose any personal information about LS LowCountry as a group or about individual members of the organization to any person, group, or organization. You agree to maintain total discretion and privacy regarding the group and its members. You agree not to bring any recording devices into any meetings or gatherings without approval from LS LowCountry leadership. Any pictures or videos shared or taken at any LS LowCountry events must have the consent of all parties involved. Any correspondence, pictures, and videos will not be shared or saved without consent from all persons involved.

You agree to have a Registered Sex Offender (RSO) and Criminal Background Check completed by LS LowCountry prior to attending a play party type event. You understand that the results of these checks can be viewed by LS LowCountry Leadership only at the time of the check.

By participating, you understand that all information provided is true for any future attendance. Any violation of disclosure, acts of violence, or other disruptive behavior as determined by LS LowCountry leadership may result in disciplinary action, up to and including summary expulsion from the group without refund of any paid monies, as well as other legal remedies to recover any damages that may occur from such acts.
